Strategic advisory: Multidisciplinary interconnectedness

Situation

  • Small medical affairs team needed to understand the priorities of different interconnected stakeholders, NPs, PAs, local and national KOLs, but because of the size of the team and company- their bandwidth and budget were limited. (There were under 10 people on the team – including the CMO)

Task

  • Develop a strategy that would provide a comprehensive set of insights and didn’t waste time or resources was needed. A plan for a hybrid approach of live and asynchronous advisory meetings was established

Action

  • A series of live advisory activities aligned with the key stakeholders was planned and we backfilled any gaps in the schedule with asynchronous activities and non-traditional stakeholders

Result

  • Robust feedback from all stakeholders was derived from the activities and in support of their medical strategy. The client was able to achieve the objectives ahead of timeline and within budget
